The Lodge has had many pressures in the 21st Century and at times numbers have become very low indeed.
By 2010 numbers had become so low that there were times when it was touch and go if the Lodge meeting would have to be abandoned.
In 2014 the Lodge Committee, under the leadership of WBros Stewart Grantham, Norman Cook and Brian Downes, took the bold step of reducing the fees and make the Lodge an attractive proposition for Brethren looking for a London Lodge. Added to this competitive edge was enacted a marketing campaign with clear a and good use of relationship marketing techniques.
It worked.
As we enter the 2020's, post pandemic, the Lodge is very viable and has a decent future ahead of it.
We have brethren that attend from all over England to join in the very happy meetings and a great social life that extends well beyond the four formal lodge meetings.
